8:22 pm - First Post for 2004
Well, the holiday break is over, and tomorrow we go back to school. I had a great holiday. I got to stay up almost every night. I watched a lot of movies (two Tarzan movies on cable) and I read. I had a nasty head cold, so I didn't get to go see 'Lord of the Rings.'

I finished 'The Hollow Hills.' I liked it much better than 'Crystal Cave.' Merlin had a lot more power, and he knew what he was doing, and I really liked Arthur. It was a great book. I've started the third book now.

Ryan came for Christmas and stayed for a while, but not for New Year's.

I got some nice things for Christmas. I got my dad a tie and Simon's book. He liked them.

I have not written in this for a long time, but I posted at the Tarzan list and had somebody write back. I sent an ecard and a real card to Missy for Christmas.

I've been playing 'Alchemy' on MSN games and the new Civilization. I'm terrible at Alchemy.

I don't want to go back to school, but I guess it will be nice to get back to normal. I can't wait for spring break!

That's all I can think of for now.

9:12 am - We're having company--
Well, Dad is all worked up about his visit with Ryan. He comes tomorrow night to stay with us, then were all going down to Disneyland and other great places (I can't wait). We're also going to Palm Springs. So we'll have a vacation finally.

The past two weeks have been so boring. Dad was sick and we didn't get to do anything and he was in a really bad mood because he had to work even though he was sick. And Nanny was sick. I was stuck around the house mostly, and we didn't go to any shows or anything. We were supposed to go to the new Lara Croft movie last weekend, but we didn't. Dad says we'll go see something with Ryan, since I'm missing all the summer movies.

Nanny takes vacation now, since we'll be gone. She actaully left yesterday, so Dad took me to work with him today. It's pretty boring, but theres TV and the internet and I'm reading Harry Potter. So its no worse than at home really.

Now Dad is all worked up about the President and whether gay guys should get married. It doesn't seem fair to say they can't, but I don't really get it.

And like I said, Dad is also worked up about meeting Ryan. I met an online penpal last year, and it wasn't that big a deal. We were in England visiting family and he lives in London. We still write to each other sometimes. He's more normal than John!

I told Dad Ryan will look just like Ryan Seacrest or maybe it really is him. But probably not, because Ryan Seacrest never gets a week off! Dad does not appreciate being teased about this, so I have to be careful. I hope they like each other though, because I don't want vacation to get wrecked.

I got in trouble last night for mouthing off and if I get in any more trouble before Ryan comes I can forget doing all the fun stuff next week. I'm going to try to be pretty good and quiet but I doubt I can do it. My mouth has a mind of its own most of the time.

I hate summer TV and dating shows. And Dad watches them all now because Ryan does, so I guess we'll have to watch a lot of those next week. But I can always read or use the computer.

I can't think of anything else to write at the moment.

12:34 am - Stuck in the house
Nanny was sick today, so I was stuck in the house all day. I wanted to go to work with Dad, and he almost took me, but he had some meetings and didn’t want to drag me around or let me use the office computer to play. So I’ve been watching TV and using the computer.

John sent me another email. He sounds so weird right now. He hasn’t read the new Harry Potter book and sounds like he doesn’t care about it. Dad says John could be changing right now, or he might be trying to sound more grown up. It’s bugging me.

I saw this Tarzan movie called ‘Tarzan and His Mate.’ It was pretty good, but it was pretty violent. Tarzan was killing lots of lions and natives, and all the white men got killed by either natives or lions. And Jane was nearly killed. Cheetah was the hero, as usual, along with the elephants (who always save the day in most Tarzan movies, even when he was in New York!).

Dad talked on the phone to Ryan for a long time last night, and I guess they made plans for our vacation. It sounds like it will be the week of August 4. (Hope so, because that’s only two weeks away!

I better go clean my room before Dad gets home from work. We’re going to the movie tomorrow or Sunday. I wish I could also talk him into ‘Pirates of the Caribbean,’ but I don’t want to push my luck!

That’s all I have to say now.

10:40 pm - Tuesday night--
We are finally planning a vacation, which includes going to Disneyland (yay—I love Disneyland!) and down to San Diego and Sea World (I like that, too). And we will also meet Dad’s friend Ryan who is somewhere in L.A.

I guess we’re going in August. Can’t wait!

I was tired and stuffed up Sunday, so we didn’t go to the movie. We’re going next weekend, Dad says. I played games on the computer instead.

I have a new book to start, but I haven’t got around to it yet.

‘American Juniors’ isn’t on tonight because of a stupid baseball game. Tomorrow night is the results of last week. (Who can remember that far back?)

I haven’t seen anything from Missy in her journal in ages. I also have not been posting enough to get a paid journal of my own, but I’m going to try harder.

That’s all!

7:59 pm - Green chocolate sauce--
Okay, I'm not the only LJ user with this on my interest list (green chocolate sauce, that is). Somebody actually found my journal by searching on it kimmahlee. Very cool.

I actually had some green sauce the night before last. It tastes great!

Well, I've got to get back to a game I'm in the middle of! So, that's it for now.

9:38 pm - I finished my book
Well, I finished my book a long time ago, but I haven't written about it. I didn't like the end. 'The Crystal Cave' is the book, and it's about Merlin as a young boy and man. But he's not really like a magician, in my opinion. He doesn't do magic. He's more like a fortune-teller and a doctor, really. He can use herbs and plants and stuff to make medicine, and every once in a while he can see the future. But not when he wants to. And he can't remember what he sees.

He's also this great engineer, and he moves a huge stone from Ireland to Stonehenge in England. But this isn't magic either.

And in the end, when he disguises Uther to go the woman who will be Arthur's mother, he doesn't use magic either. And he ends up getting hurt and having everyone hate him.

So, I was kind of disappointed. But overall it was a good book and interesting.

We got watermelon today. We didn't have it on the 4th, so this is the first time all summer.

I played soccer today, but my dad is still worried that I have some cough left over and he wants me to go to the doctor. But I think it's just left over and it's not a big deal. I wish I didn't have to go.

Tomorrow we're going to see 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen'! Dad promised. I can't wait, because it looks really great to me!

My best friend John is gone for the summer. Today he emailed me. He sounded like he's trying to pretend he's having a good time or something. But he'd rather be home in my opinion.

Dad says maybe we can watch 'Harry Potter' tonight. We watched the end of 'Signs' which is a good movie. Dad doesn't have a date tonight.

I got a sunburn on my shoulders, but it isn't bad.

That's all.

10:11 pm - It's Monday again
We saw Charlie's Angels over the weekend. It was pretty good. I liked the fighting. Some of it was kinda silly. But mostly it was good.

There were lots of good movies on cable over the weekend. There was King Kong (the black & white movie) and Mysterious Island. I loved that.

I'm over my cold now. I'm not coughing at all anymore. So today I played soccer for a while.

Dad is still deciding where we'll go for vacation. We might go to Disney World or just down to San Diego to Sea World and stop in Disneyland. I love Disneyland, but I'd really like to go to Disney World because I've never been there and they have so much stuff. We'll have to see.

Tonight we went and got ice cream. We ran out last night. Dad lets me have the Hulk chocolate sauce which is green, even though it makes my poop green. I wonder if my stomach and guts are green, too.

That's about it for now.

10:42 pm - American Juniors
My dad hates American Juniors, so I don't know why he watches it. He complains about nearly every performance, but he watches it anyway. He doesn't like kid singers. I admit, most of them were pretty bad tonight, but not all of them. I think he likes Ryan Seacrest, really.

We got the Harry Potter book finally. I went ahead and found out who died, but I'm not going to say here (because Dad says I shouldn't). Anyway, it wasn't all that big a deal, at least to me.

I didn't have an entry yesterday, because I didn't have anything to say. I'm still a little sick, but not bad. But still, I can't just go out, and it's boring.

Maybe by tomorrow I'll be well. Hope so!

Oh, we went to the Justin and Kelly movie. I had popcorn and raisinettes. It was silly, but it wasn't all that bad. I liked the singing and dancing, but there were a lot of boring parts. Dad just shook his head at it. He thought it was a ridiculous idea in the first place. I wanted to see the Hulk, but Dad didn't want to.

Well, I guess that's all for today.

11:26 am - Good movies
Since I'm sick, I cough at night. So dad's letting me sit up and read and watch tv. Last night I watched a movie about a girl who was a witch, but you weren't sure til the end. The night before I watched a Tarzan movie, 'Tarzan in NY', and it was so good! It was an old black and white movie, and Cheetah was really funny in it. I liked it when Tarzan jumped off the bridge.

School's out for summer, so right now it doesn't matter if I stay up.

This morning dad made me eat grapefruit for breakfast, because it makes you healthy. I hope it works, because it tastes rotten.

If I'm feeling better later, we're going to the movie. I hope we get to go! I want popcorn.

I don't have much more to say now.

9:34 pm - My new journal!
My dad helped me start this journal. He says if I use it at least three times a week (!), he'll pay for it to have more icons. He's also teaching me to make icons, but I bet I get better at it than he is soon. I had to keep a written journal at school all last year, and it was kind of fun and kind of a pain. But typing is easier than writing, really.

I'm more than halfway through 'The Crystal Cave.' Parts of it are pretty boring, but mostly it's interesting. I love it when Merlin feels his wizard power, but he doesn't have any control over it.

We didn't go get the new Harry Potter book last night. I wanted to, but Dad said no because I've been sick with a nasty cold all week. I just want to know who dies in it! I bet it's Dumbledore, because then if there's going to be a wizard war, Harry will need to get more powerful.

I have 120 interests right now. It's hard to think of them when you're staring at the page.

That's all for now!
